What is a Personal Website?

A personal website must exhibit content that tells your readers about your thoughts, ideas,

What is CSS ?

•CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets
•CSS describes how HTML elements are to be displayed on screen, on paper, or in other media
•CSS saves a lot of work. It can control the layout of multiple Web pages all at once
•External Style Sheets are stored in CSS files

the Working of DHTML ?

DHTML as it is combination of HTML as well as JavaScript and it uses the HTML to render the text on the browser. It also uses DOM dynamic Object Model which renders its every element as an Object that can be changed by setting properties and methods. This is done with the help of Scripting. DHTML is part of the general computing trend of late '90s. This is a trend different from structured programming, with a focus on actions and toward object-based programming, where the objects can be compared to nouns in our language.
DHTML allows scripting languages to change variable in a web page's definition language, which in turn affects the look and function of otherwise "static" HTML page content, after the page has been fully loaded and during the viewing process.
How FontSize and Font Size is differ in DHTML?
font size is an attribute that we used in font tag.Where as font-size is an style property.

What are the features of DHTML?

Some most important features of DHTML are given below:
Using DHTML we can change the tags and their properties.
It is use for Real-time positioning.
It is used to generate dynamic fonts (Netscape Communicator).
Used for Data binding (Internet Explorer).

What is the difference between HTML and DHTML ?

html is used to write only static content
Dhtml is used to write dynamic content like using
javascript or vbscript in html to make html page dynamic
html is a error free language where dhtml is not a error
free language
HTML= IT IS LANGUAGE WHICH ARE USED TO DEVELOPE THE WEB PAGE IS THE INTERNET PAGE.
IT IS DEVIDED BY TWO PARTS:
<1> HEAD <2> BODY.
DHTML= IN WHICH WE CAN READY THE USER CAN STYLE SHEET

what is Dhtml ?

Dynamic HyerText Markup Language (DHTML) is a combination of Web development technologies used to create dynamically changing websites. Web pages may include animation, dynamic menus and text effects. The technologies used include a combination of HTML, JavaScript or VB Script,
CSS and the document object model (DOM).
Designed to enhance a Web user’s experience, DHTML includes the following features:
Dynamic content, which allows the user to dynamically change Web page content
Dynamic positioning of Web page elements
Dynamic style, which allows the user to change the Web page’s color, font, size or content.

some html tags are .....

 1 Heading Tags
Any document starts with a heading. You can use different sizes for your headings. HTML also has six levels of headings, which use the elements <h1>, <h2>, <h3>, <h4>, <h5>, and <h6>. While displaying any heading, browser adds one line before and one line after that heading.

 2 Paragraph Tag
The <p> tag offers a way to structure your text into different paragraphs. Each paragraph of text should go in between an opening <p> and a closing </p> tag as shown below in the example:

 3 Line Break Tag
Whenever you use the <br /> element, anything following it starts from the next line. This tag is an example of an empty element, where you do not need opening and closing tags, as there is nothing to go in between them.

The <br /> tag has a space between the characters br and the forward slash. If you omit this space, older browsers will have trouble rendering the line break, while if you miss the forward slash character and just use <br> it is not valid in XHTML

 4 Centering Content
You can use <center> tag to put any content in the center of the page or any table cell.

 5 Horizontal Lines
Horizontal lines are used to visually break up sections of a document. The <hr> tag creates a line from the current position in the document to the right margin and breaks the line accordingly.

For example you may want to give a line between two paragraphs as in the given example below:

 6 Preserve Formatting
Sometimes you want your text to follow the exact format of how it is written in the HTML document. In those cases, you can use the p reformatted tag <pre>.

Any text between the opening <pre> tag and the closing </pre> tag will preserve the formatting of the source document.

 7 Nonbreaking Spaces
Suppose you want to use the phrase "12 Angry Men." Here you would not want a browser to split the "12, Angry" and "Men" across two lines:

An example of this technique appears in the movie "12 Angry Men."
In cases where you do not want the client browser to break text, you should use a nonbreaking space entity &nbsp; instead of a normal space.

what is html tags ?

An HTML tag is a code that describes how a Web page is formatted. HTML tags are defined by the characters < and >.

There are dozens of HTML tags in valid HTML, another dozen or so deprecated tags (tags that are no longer part of the specification), and a few tags for specific browsers like Internet Explorer only tags, Netscape only tags, MSN TV/WebTV only tags, and others.

See a list of all HTML tags.

How work to html ?

HTML consists of a series of short codes typed into a text-file by the site author — these are the tags. The text is then saved as a html file, and viewed through a browser, like Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. This browser reads the file and translates the text into a visible form, hopefully rendering the page as the author had intended. Writing your own HTML entails using tags correctly to create your vision. You can use anything from a rudimentary text-editor to a powerful graphical editor to create HTML pages.

What is HTML ?

HTML is a computer language devised to allow website creation. These websites can then be viewed by anyone else connected to the Internet. It is relatively easy to learn, with the basics being accessible to most people in one sitting; and quite powerful in what it allows you to create. It is constantly undergoing revision and evolution to meet the demands and requirements of the growing Internet audience under the direction of the » WC, the organisation charged with designing and maintaining the language.

The definition of HTML is Hypertext Markup Language.

Hypertext is the method by which you move around on the web — by clicking on special text called hyperlinks which bring you to the next page. The fact that it is hyper just means it is not linear — i.e. you can go to any place on the Internet whenever you want by clicking on links — there is no set order to do things in.
Markup is what HTML tags do to the text inside them. They mark it as a certain type of text (italicised text, for example).
HTML is a Language, as it has code-words and syntax like any other language.

what is Web Design

Web design is the process of creating websites. It encompasses several different aspects, including webpage layout, content production, and graphic design. While the terms web design and web development are often used interchangeably, web design is technically a subset of the broader category of web development.

Websites are created using a markup language called HTML. Web designers build webpages using HTML tags that define the content and metadata of each page. The layout and appearance of the elements within a webpage are typically defined using CS, or cascading style sheets. Therefore, most websites include a combination of HTML and COS that defines how each page will appear in a browser.

Some web designers prefer to hand code pages (typing HTML and CSS from scratch), while others use a "WYSIWYG" editor like Adobe Dreamweaver. This type of editor provides a visual interface for designing the webpage layout and the software automatically generates the corresponding HTML and CSS code. Another popular way to design websites is with a content management system like WordPress or Joomla. These services provide different website templates that can be used as a starting point for a new website. Webmasters can then add content and customize the layout using a web-based interface.

While HTML and CUSS are used to design the look and feel of a website, images must be created separately. Therefore, graphic design may overlap with web design, since graphic designers often create images for use on the Web. Some graphics programs like Adobe Photoshop even include a "Save for Web…" option that provides an easy way to export images in a format optimized for web publishing.
